Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Stay in the historical core area of Beijing and walk around Wangfujing Street.
Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, our team will be waiting for you at the arrival exit with a sign bearing your name. From there, we’ll smoothly transfer you to your accommodation at the centrally located Sunworld Hotel in Beijing’s bustling Wangfujing Street area. Enjoy the freedom to explore this vibrant neighborhood at your own pace, with a plethora of shopping, dining, and cultural experiences just steps away from the hotel. Experience the authentic pulse of Chinese life from the heart of Beijing, ensuring a memorable start to your journey.
Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Temple of Heaven.
In the morning, our guided tour begins with panoramic views of the Forbidden City from Jingshan Park, followed by a visit to Tiananmen Square and exploration of the Imperial Palace. After leisure time in Jingshan Park, we’ll enjoy lunch at a premium Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the sacred Temple of Heaven before concluding the day with an exciting Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Beijing Red Theater. Finally, we’ll return to our hotel for the evening.

Day 3 Beijing

Visit the Great Wall, Mingling Sacred Way, take photos in the Water Cube and the Bird’s Nest, special dinner (optional)
In the morning, gear up for our trip to the Badaling Great Wall, where you’ll have the choice to hike or take a cable car to the summit. After marveling at the wall’s grandeur, we’ll enjoy lunch at a restaurant within the Jade Museum. Following this, we’ll visit the Sacred Way, lined with ancient stone statues, before stopping at the Olympic National Stadium area for photo opportunities. Returning to our hotel in Wangfujing, you can unwind or explore the bustling Wangfujing Walking Street at night, with optional evening activities available.

Day 4 Beijing

Begin your day with a visit to the magnificent Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exquisite Chinese landscape garden design. Located northwest of Beijing, the Summer Palace offers unparalleled aesthetic value and is a testament to China’s rich cultural heritage.
Next, embark on a pedicab tour through the Hutongs, Beijing’s traditional alleyways steeped in history and charm. These gray-tiled lanes are vibrant hubs where families gather, shop, and engage in daily life, offering a glimpse into the heart of local culture.
Later, pay a visit to the renowned Shichahai Sports School, where you may have the opportunity to observe martial arts training sessions. Immerse yourself in the discipline and dedication of the students as they hone their skills.
The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure or unwind with a cup of coffee at a cozy café, soaking in the ambiance of this captivating city.
With a private transfer from hotel to rail station, you will take a morning high speed train to Luoyang. The train takes over 4 hours. Upon arrival at Luoyang, be greeted by your guide and then transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the famous Longmen Grottoes, a world heritage site named in 2000, the sculptures there are an outstanding manifestation of human artistic creativity. The grottoes and niches of Longmen contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316- 907). These works, entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion, represent the high point of Chinese stone carving.
Then have a walk at old city quarters of Luoyang, where you can appreciate its solid structure and enjoy leisure time there.

Day 6 Luoyang

Shaolin Temple, located in Dengfeng County, is renowned for its Shaolin martial arts, attracting visitors from all over the world. Built in 495 during the Northern Wei Dynasty, it offers insights into ancient Chinese culture. The tour includes visits to the Pagoda Forest and captivating Chinese Kung Fu performances. Following this, participate in a Kung Fu class at a local school to immerse yourself in the world of martial arts. Spend the night at a nearby hotel, providing the opportunity to explore surrounding villages and deepen your understanding of Shaolin Kung Fu culture.

Day 7 Luoyang-Xi'an

Sanhuangzhai, situated on the mountainside at the western foot of Songshan Shaoshi Mountains, boasts an altitude of 1200 meters and covers approximately 35 square kilometers. It is a key component of the Songshan Shaolin Scenic Area, showcasing the most representative natural landscapes of the Songshan World Geopark and Songshan National Forest Park. Visitors can ascend via cable car and embark on a hike to admire the plank bridge constructed along the mountain’s edge, supported by sturdy trusses. After the tour, return to Luoyang rail station for a high-speed train journey lasting about 1.5 hours to Xi’an. Upon arrival at Xi’an rail station, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel.

Day 8 Xi'an

In the morning, you will be transferred to visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, renowned as one of China’s top attractions, celebrated for its historical significance and unparalleled uniqueness. Next, explore the Old City Wall, which stands as the most intact ancient Chinese wall still in existence, enveloping and safeguarding the ancient sector of Xian City. For a breathtaking perspective of its grandeur, consider a bike ride along the wall, weather permitting. Afterward, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Moslem Street, an unmissable destination offering a plethora of local delicacies that will undoubtedly tantalize your taste buds. From savory to sweet, this culinary haven earns its title as “A Street for Gourmet,” offering an array of mouthwatering delights sure to satisfy every craving.

Day 9 Xi'an

In the morning, your private Xi’an tour continues with visits to the Xi’an Museum and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The Xi’an Museum, a captivating collection of museums, landmarks, and urban gardens, has evolved into a cherished historical and cultural site for both travelers and locals alike. Here, visitors can delve into the rich history of Xi’an while enjoying a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda, constructed during the Tang dynasty in 707 A.D., stands as a striking multi-eaved structure crafted from square bricks.
 
At an appropriate time, you will be transferred to the bus station for an express bus journey to Mt. Wudangshan, renowned for its awe-inspiring ancient architectural complex, Taoist heritage, and Tai Chi Kung Fu. The scenic road trip typically spans 4 hours. Upon arrival at Wudangshan’s bus station, you will be met and transferred to the entrance of the scenic area of Mt. Wudangshan. Once inside the scenic area, you will utilize public transportation or walk from point to point to reach your mountain accommodation. Enjoy an overnight stay in Mt. Wudangshan.

Day 10: Xi'an

Escorted by your local guide, you will ascend the mountain via cable car, conserving energy for the journey ahead. Upon reaching the upper cable car station, your ascent to the Palace of Harmony will commence. This magnificent temple complex awaits your exploration. Continuing your climb, you will eventually reach the Golden Summit (Golden Palace), the pinnacle of Mt. Wudangshan. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty in 1416, the Golden Summit stands as the iconic symbol of Wudang Mountain. Here, you will be treated to a panoramic vista of Mt. Wudang, offering a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding landscape. Following your time at the Golden Summit, begin your descent down the mountain to the bus stop located near your hotel.
The descent involves a 3-hour hike, during which you will pass by several temples and sites, including the South Cliff Palace. Renowned as the site where Emperor Zhen Wu founded Taoism and ascended to heaven, the South Cliff Palace is an architectural marvel carved entirely out of rock, boasting hall-pillars, beams, arches, gates, and windows. Upon completion of your hike, return to your hotel to rest or explore additional complimentary sites in the area.

Day 11 Xi'an-Shanghai

With the guidance of your tour guide, your exploration of the mountain continues today. Firstly, you will visit a local Taiji School, where you can enjoy performances and participate in Taiji lessons. Experience the graceful movements and serene atmosphere of this ancient martial art. Next, proceed to the Purple Heaven Palace, situated atop Zhanqifeng Peak and constructed in 1413. This architectural marvel comprises several halls, including the Dragon and Tiger Hall, and the Purple Sky Hall. Within these halls, numerous statues depict the life and teachings of the Taoist guru Zhen Wu. Lastly, your journey will take you to Taizi Po, a magnificent structure boasting 105 rooms. The unique architectural style of Taizi Po harks back to the Ming Dynasty of China, offering a glimpse into the rich history of the region.
At an appropriate time, descend from Mt. Wudangshan via public bus to reach the mountain’s exit. From there, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival at Shanghai airport, your guide will be waiting to greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel.

Day 12: Shanghai

Today, we will explore the unique charm of water towns by visiting Zhujiajiao ancient town, located approximately one hour away by car from Shanghai. This well-preserved town stands out among the ancient towns in the region. Embark on a short boat cruise along the tranquil river, allowing you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a bustling commercial center from bygone eras.
Upon returning to the city, we will visit the exquisite classical Chinese Garden, Yu Garden, nestled in the heart of bustling Shanghai. Stroll through its scenic landscapes and intricate architecture, experiencing a serene contrast to the dynamic urban environment surrounding it. Afterward, we will explore the shopping area nearby.
Later, we will head to the Bund, where modern and historical architecture converge, creating a captivating skyline known as a “World Architecture Fair.” Take in the impressive views of iconic landmarks that blend traditional and contemporary influences, offering a glimpse into Shanghai’s rich history and vibrant future.

Day 13: Free Day in Shanghai

After enjoying your 10-day trip, you might appreciate some time to explore Shanghai at your own pace. Consider visiting one of the iconic skyscrapers like Oriental TV Power, Shanghai Tower, or Shanghai World Trade Tower. Alternatively, explore the charming old quarters of Shanghai, such as the Tianzifang quarter, where you can discover unique souvenirs.
 

Day 14 : Shanghai Departure

When the time comes, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the airport for your flight back home, carrying with you cherished memories from your China Kung Fu tour!
